"My wife and I began our search for a retirement property in 2006 when our youngest child entered college and the "empty nester" phase of our life began. We are Canadians who have had the good fortune to live in several different countries and are temporarily living/working in the United States. Even though we have several years before our "golden" years begin; we both love Vancouver Island for the wide variety of natural beauty, community belonging and geological uniqueness only found on the "Island" which led us to search for a property to call home.

 

After researching realtor's via the internet that we believed were qualified to understand not only our "non-resident" status but also our property preferences; Sandra became the obvious choice based on her international experience and comprehensive knowledge of the local markets. Our engagement with Sandra was immediate due to her pleasant dialogue and proactive/relevant property identification and recommendations that met our criteria.
